Born out of a partnership between government, industry, and civil society, the program bridges the digital divide — equipping ordinary citizens, particularly in underserved communities, with the confidence and competence to participate meaningfully in the digital economy and drive their own communities forward.
What We Are Solving

The Need
Digital exclusion is a modern form of poverty. Without access to technology and the skills to navigate it, entire communities are locked out of essential online services, distance learning, and the digital job market. This “digital divide” prevents economic mobility and leaves marginalized populations further behind in an increasingly automated world.
The Interventions
DigiBayanihan is a large-scale digital empowerment framework that turns technology into a public utility for all. Using a high-leverage “Train-the-Trainer” model, we mobilize a network of digital volunteers to deliver essential 21st-century skills – from foundational literacy to advanced workforce readiness. To drive systemic change, we establish Centers of Excellence that serve as regional hubs for innovation and learning. We further bridge the connectivity gap by organizing multi-sectoral forums and community workshops specifically designed to improve awareness of digital rights and opportunities. By fostering a culture of digital volunteerism, we empower communities to lead their own technological transformation and participate fully in the global digital economy.
