The Need
Across many Asian regions, education and training systems struggle to keep pace with rapid technological and economic change. This creates widening gaps, leaving youth and marginalized groups without essential STEM competencies, digital expertise, and adaptable skills needed for meaningful employment, career mobility, and participation in evolving, competitive labor markets.
The Intervention
ASSIST works with governments, industries, and schools to bridge this gap—equipping learners and workers with relevant skills and clear pathways to meaningful employment and entrepreneurship. Through our skills top-up program, workforce upskilling, and support for TVET, we help learners and workers acquire STEP-related competencies in digital and innovation skills.
