Our Partners

SOURCe Philippines — or Supply of Unpolluted Clean Drinking Water to Rural Communities — is a flagship water, sanitation, and health initiative dedicated to ensuring safe and reliable access to clean drinking water for communities in climate-vulnerable areas of the Philippines. By combining modern water technology, training, and capacity building, the program works to protect rural communities from the threat of waterborne diseases caused by untreated and unsafe water sources.

What We Are Solving

The Need

Access to safe drinking water remains a critical challenge in rural Philippines. Contaminated natural sources and limited community knowledge put families, especially children, at risk of waterborne diseases. Gaps in hygiene practices and infrastructure maintenance further hinder long-term health and behavior change.

The Interventions

ASSIST’s SOURCe program enables a water-purifying filter coming from different natural water sources. Through community training, school programs, local champions, and NGO partnerships, the initiative builds local capacity, promotes behavior change, and ensures sustainable access to safe drinking water.

Impact Aligned with Global Goals
